Angel Zhen, CPA EA MSTax

I've been working with Angel for almost two years now and I've learned a lot for both my business and my personal taxes. Angel shares a lot of his knowledge with you and is patient and understanding with me, who's very much a financial novice. He's also super easy to reach compared to some other offices that are more old-fashioned and only take phone calls and not text or online chat.

I have been working with Angel for last three years for my Foundation. Angel is a very knowledgeable and gives good advice. Angel understands how important is tax filing on time. Last year Angel filed my 990PF form within one week. I suggest to consider Angel as your CPA.

I had some tax returns to file from 2004 through 2008, state and federal, and didn't know where to go. H&R block is currently not very responsive (it took me a month to get them to do even a single return). Angel was able to do all of that back work in a week--he also likes to give updates and he takes the time to call if there are questions. His fee also surprised me; I thought I was going to have to spend twice as much as I did. He even made some minor corrections without additional charge. Highly recommended!

Super responsive and can set up meetings easily with him! Learned more in 30 minutes from talking to him than 5 years with my previous accountant. If you are considering switching, please talk to Angel first!

I am placing one star so that it goes in public, but if I could I would place minus tree starts, I was trying him as my accountant, and he messed my taxes 3 times in very essential matters. For the LARGE amount he charges I was expecting a professional CPA. He is very aggressive on demanding an engagement letter to charge upfront before even starting to work on the taxes. The refund expected was a lot less due to his very basic mistake. Now I have to amend the taxes due to his incompetence. Not to mention paying somebody else to fix his errors, and spend long hours on calls with the IRS. I would NOT recommend him.
