This review is a bit overdue, but HandyLectric came through for me in a big way. We were having a new dishwasher installed, but when the machine's appliance team came to our home to remove our old one, they discovered it was hard-wired into the house and were unable to remove it without a more certified electrician. HandyLectric answered my phone call on a weekend and sent someone out first thing Monday morning. They were able to re-wire and cap the power from the old dishwasher inside of 2 hours. They were quick and more than happy to answer all the questions I had about the project. Reasonable price for the amount of time and effort as well. Will be using them again if I have any other issues in the future!
I hired them to install 4 under cabinet lights, switches, and get the ceiling lights to work in my kitchen. My mom was home when they came out so I came home expecting the job to be done. My mom said that three guys came from HandyLectric. They spent about 10 minutes and charged $150 but didn't install any of the under cabinet lights, switches, or get the ceiling lights to work. When I asked the owner why this was not done, he says that he was only there to troubleshoot and get the power to work for several of the outlets in my kitchen. He said that my ceiling lights were wired incorrectly but he would send someone out the following week to trouble shoot free of charge for 1 hour since they were very busy this week. Needless to say the week went by and he didn't send anyone. I had my handyman install my under cabinet lights and switches. My handyman was able to get the ceiling lights to work by simply connecting the wire to a switch so I have no idea what troubleshooting needed to be done. Bottom line, I will not hire them again.
Can't thank this team enough. Their lead foreman is a great help and very knowledgeable. He was able to be flexible with my home renovation schedule, and even he and another worker put up a three sheets of drywall, after I to remove it to pull a few more wires to the panel. Their pricing is extremely competitive and often less (used them twice now). The crew jumps around to do other jobs, being a construction manager I understand that is part of the business, still, this may be off putting for some customers. Needless to say, they slammed this project out very quickly, and thus far they haven't had a single hiccup with the LADBS Inspections. Big Thumbs up.
